SOCIAL CONSCIENCE
We truly believe in supporting those less fortunate than us and by paying it forward where we can. We are proud of our newly launched Women for Women initiative as well as our connection with both local and global charities that we chose throughout the year to get involved with.
The Women for Women Initiative 2019
We believe that women’s Physiotherapy should be accessible to every woman but recognise that for many due to financial restraints that their own heath is often neglected. We have therefore decided to launch the Women for Women initiative in 2019, as our way to help deserving women in unfortunate circumstances access Physiotherapy care who couldn’t afford it otherwise.
We will be providing a $500 voucher every 3-4 months for a nominated woman who needs our services to help them work towards improving their health and quality of life.
What can you do?
We would like to ask you to nominate a woman you know, such as a patient, family or friend that may benefit from seeing our specialised team. Whether it be for pelvic floor, bladder care, spinal care or rehabilitation we are here to help. Simply email us with their name, contact details and a paragraph about why you are nominating them to rikki@womeninfocusphysio.com.au.
We hope you embrace this initiative and help us to pay it forward. We truly believe that a woman’s wellbeing starts from within so encourage you to spread the word. We look forward to sharing our Women for Women Project with someone deserving in coming months.
Charity Involvement
Over the years we have helped raise money for the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation, Breast Cancer Australia, Ovarian cancer, Endometriosis Australia as well as run collection drives for share the dignity and provided various other charity donations.
We have a very passionate and caring team at WIF who want to leave the world a better place and in 2019 we will to continue our involvement with helping both local and global charities.
If you have a charity or event you would like us to get involved with feel free to reach out to rikki@womeninfocusphysio.com.au
